Africa is a highly qualified and experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. As a Baltimore, Maryland native growing up in west Baltimore she attended Western High School. Her passion for helping others started when she was very young. She knew early on that she had the ability to help her peers and talk them through their problems. At the age of 17 Africa enrolled herself into a CNA program while attending classes at Baltimore County Community College. From there she transferred to Coppin State University where she graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. In 2014 Africa received her Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland.
With a Master of Science in Nursing, Africa has achieved board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in Psychiatry and Medication Management. Her dedication to promoting mental well-being and providing comprehensive care is evident in her practice. Africa has over 20 years of experience in the Mental health field. Through her expertise and compassionate approach, Africa aims to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reminiscing and making new memories.
Belinda is from a small town called Orange, Texas. She moved to Maryland at a young age and grew up in Glen Burnie, MD, where she attended Glen Burnie High School. She is a third generation nurse following in the steps of her mother and grandmother, who was a psychiatric nurse. Belinda enrolled in a CNA program after high school and then attended Anne Arundel Community College where she became a certified medical assistant and EMT. Her grandmother lived a few blocks away from the college so Belinda would stop by before classes. It was then that her grandmother convinced her to become an RN.
Belinda then went to Coppin State University and received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 2010. For 9 years she worked as an RN in rehab, psychiatry and finally as a medical-surgical nurse. Belinda then decided that she loved psychiatric medicine the most and chose to further her career in that field. She attended Walden University and received her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2021. In her spare time she loves to travel, cheer for the Baltimore Ravens and spend time with family.
Desiree is a Baltimore native with a deep-rooted passion for helping and serving others. Desiree is an alumnus of Coppin State University where she majored in Applied Psychology. She proceeded to further her education by earning her Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work.
With over 20 years of experience, Desiree has dedicated herself to providing exceptional service to a diverse community, including those facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Her kind and compassionate nature shines through as she eagerly assists others in recognizing their strengths and uncovering glimmers of hope and motivation in every situation.
In her spare time, Desiree enjoys traveling, hosting and creating memories with family and friends. Desiree also enjoys listening to music and enjoys watching the home team , the BALTIMORE RAVENS.
Jarmickia is a Baltimore native with a passion for helping people. She has over 12 years of experience. As a seasoned medical assistant, she is known for her patience and kindness. As an office assistant, she brings her expertise and dedication to her work every day. In her free time Jarmickia enjoys spending time with her children and practicing yoga, as well as pursuing her hobby of modeling.
